Founded by our MD Andy Wood over 50 years ago our business philosophy is ‘Customer First’. Moving from 3 Freezer Centres the business has grown from strength to strength.
The Wood Family first started Trading Poultry in Craven Arms in the 1830’s and during the 1950’s our MD’s Father & Uncles expanded the business into Midland Poultry Holdings which by the 1960’s processed 18,000 birds per day to meet post war demand for great value chicken & turkey.
Still a family run business we are passionate about supporting independent business offering Real Value & Choice.
Based in Ludlow the thriving Medieval Market Town where its reputation for quality food and drink is supported by the areas quality food producers. Bikold is proud of its rural roots and we promote a vast range of products from local producers ensuring that we give platform to help these products find a way into your kitchens to add Provenance & Quality to your menus.
